A Stronger Tomorrow for Utah’s Teens
The Bank of Utah Championship is about more than world-class golf—it’s about creating positive impact across Utah. Through championship impact funding, Bank of Utah has partnered with The Policy Project to launch the Bank of Utah Financial Literacy Program, bringing real-world money skills into Teen Centers across the state.
Teen Centers serve thousands of students facing housing instability and economic hardship, providing critical resources that allow them to stay focused on school and their future. By integrating financial literacy into these trusted spaces, the program equips teens with practical tools—like budgeting, saving, and financial decision-making—while building confidence that extends far beyond the classroom.
Rooted in the PGA TOUR’s commitment to meaningful charitable impact, this partnership ensures the championship’s legacy reaches well beyond the fairways, supporting young people and strengthening communities for generations to come.
GROWING LEADERS ON THE COURSE
The Bank of Utah Championship is proud to be the largest single financial supporter of First Tee – Utah, helping expand access to a program that uses the game of golf to shape confident, capable, and values-driven young leaders across the state.
First Tee – Utah blends golf instruction with life skills development, teaching participants ages 7–18 the fundamentals of the game alongside core values like honesty, respect, perseverance, and responsibility. Every lesson is designed to help young people grow not just as golfers, but as students, teammates, and future leaders.
Programs are offered at locations throughout Utah, with equipment and financial assistance provided to ensure cost is never a barrier to participation. Beyond local classes and camps, First Tee – Utah connects youth to national opportunities—including leadership academies, competitive play, and scholarship programs—opening doors and expanding what’s possible.
Through this partnership, the Bank of Utah Championship is investing in more than a tournament. It’s investing in character, confidence, and opportunity, using sport as a catalyst for lifelong success.
